TV Station “Telecenter”

Reconstruction works of 35 kV substation equipment with replacement of 35 kV air-blast circuit breakers (ABCB) with vacuum circuit breakers, including equipment supply.

The “Telecenter” substation is an infrastructure facility under the protection of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and supplies power to the television tower. The requirements for work organization were extremely high. The project was completed within one year and delivered on schedule.

We carried out reconstruction of the 35 kV outdoor switchgear (OSG), and upgraded relay protection and automation systems.

We installed the following equipment at the facility:

• Insulator unit BI(A)-35-19 U1 with a 35 kV polymer insulator and surge arrester MWK-41.
• Disconnector unit BR(A)-35*16a1 with disconnector RDZ-2-35/1000 UHL1, motor drive for main blades PDAUHL1, and drive PR-05 UHL1 for earthing blades.
• Voltage transformer unit BTN(A)-35-18-ShchU1 with voltage transformers VOT 38 35000/√3/100/3 V (KRB intra) and high-voltage fuse PKN-35 011. Vacuum circuit breaker unit BV(A)-35-9-Sh U1 with vacuum circuit breaker VB4-P-35 U1, current transformers CTSO 38, disconnector RDZ-2-35/1000 UHL1, main blade drive PDA, earthing blade drive PR-05, and surge arrester MWK-41.
• Support insulator unit BI(A)-35-19-1 U1 with a 35 kV polymer insulator, support height 3320 mm.
• Rigid busbar system of 35 kV outdoor switchgear (OSG), consisting of three sections in accordance with the design.
• Protection and automation panel for transformer T-1 (non-standard).
• Protection and automation panel for transformer T-2.
• On-load tap changer (OLTC) panel for transformer T-1 (T-2) (non-standard).
• 35 kV voltage transformer metering panel.
• Central signaling panel. Protection and automation panel for 10 kV bus coupler (non-standard).
• Control board ShchUE-1-1.
