The project was carried out in accordance with the long-term development plan for the 35–110 kV power grids in the Kyiv region for the period 2017–2027.
Kyivoblenergo PJSC. The scope of the reconstruction includes:
- replacement of the existing main transformers T1 and T2 with transformers rated at 25 MVA each, 110/10 kV, with on-load tap changers and split windings on the 10 kV side;
- reconstruction of oil receivers for the new T1 and T2 transformers;
- installation of 110 kV SF6 circuit breakers and 110 kV remote current transformers to replace the existing disconnectors;
- installation of 110 kV voltage transformers;
- replacement of all 110 kV disconnectors;
- replacement of ZON-110 kV grounding devices;
- replacement of 110 kV and 10 kV surge arresters with surge limiters;
- construction of a new complete 10 kV KRPZ-type distribution unit of a block-modular design with four 10 kV switchgear sections;
- installation of a substation-wide control center (SWCC) with relay protection and automation (RPA) panels and auxiliary power supply panels;
- installation of new 10/0.4 kV auxiliary power transformers with a capacity of 63 kVA each.
